Fun Family Day at St. Mary's Glacier (late Sept. 2012)

The boys are ready for the mile-ish hike straight up to the glacier.

Sarah still smiling after all those rocks!

The kids kept their cheerful attitudes the whole way up!

We made it to the lake with no tears, not even from Charlie who kept us all rolling on the hike up with his running commentary about the elevation gain.

Paris found a fun seat.

Tommy preferred crawling the tree instead of walking on it.

Love this adventure girl!

So fun for us to see the bigger four off bonding together, squealing about the huge fish they were hitting with rocks!

Noah also enjoyed throwing rocks but stayed closer to his parents to do it!

Love the wrist action!

Contemplating joining the big kids.

I love the silhouettes of the trees.

More bonding!

Cutie Fletch!

The glacier in the background.

Interesting tree.

Love the mountains in the background.

Fletch took this shot of me.
The mountains had already gotten their first snow so the peaks behind us were tipped with white!

Time to hike back down.

Thankful for the yellow in CO!

A Sunday in September (2012)
