Paris' 7th Birthday

One of Paris' favorite gifts from her friends was this remote control puppy she named, Mint. Another was the walkable Pet Shop pink dragonfly.
Charlie thought it was funny to squirt whip cream in the girls' mouths rather than on the crepes. Sarah thought it was funny to smear whip cream on her dad's face rather than in his mouth!
Noah had fun at Parie's party, too! The stairs continue to be fun for him right now.
Kenna is one of Parie's tiniest friends, but she eats the most out of everyone! I have to say, not many of the friends were all that crazy about crepes, despite blueberry and cherry filling!
Paris was delighted with her Eiffel Tower birthday cake.
Raygan was SO excited to give Paris a best friend necklace of which she wore the other half and a best friend bracelet which also matched hers.
The birthday party girls loved the cake and were so amazed by the silver icing on the side and the Eiffel Tower picture on top.
Paris picked her Eiffel Tower outfit to wear to her party and her new pink feather headband.
Lauren looked as if she liked the crepe she put together...but not really!
Abbey, Paris' friend from Tuesday Options school, loved modeling on the pink runway during the fashion show. She wore four different outfits for each of the shows. This is the one she came wearing from home.
Charlie had french music playing throughout the party which made for a fun ambiance.
Paris was thrilled to curl her hair with curlers for the party.
Sarah was delighted with her party hair, too! Who knew hot rollers could be so fun?!

Parisian Party Fun 2011

Fletcher made a HUGE contribution to the party by preparing the crepe batter (quadrupling the recipe!) and baking enough crepes for our family, ten party guests, and two helpers!
He mastered the art of thin crepes and had fun flipping them Fletcher-style!

The party started at five when girls were greeted with "Bienvenue a Paris! Welcome to Paris!"
Sarah and Paris had a ball making the Parisian signs and hanging them all around the main floor.
We hung fancy clothes and accessories to be chosen by guests should they desire to model them down the pink runway in the fashion show after our crepe dinner.
Sarah's van Gogh like Eiffel Tower added a nice touch to the wall.
Fletcher was proud of the way he stacked the pink boxes. I was, too!

Paris' Paris Party, Dec.2, 2011

The craft table set up for decorating pink party favor boxes.
After adding Parisian "bling" to their boxes, the girls got their make-up and nails done by Sarah, her friend, Monika, and a middle school girl, Molly, from my Wednesday night small group who lives two streets over from us.
Lauren is starting to add sparkly gems and Parisian stickers to her pink box.
Sarah and Paris gave the boxes and lids two coats of pink paint the day before the party.
Sarah and Paris' finished creations complete with two Parisian hair ribbons and a big, sparkly pink lipgloss inside. The ten party girls were tickled pink!
