All the kids enjoyed this fun park across from the Albuquerque Art Museum. Four really fun "slides" that the kids did over and over again. Noah loved the balancing bridge as well as the slides sitting on Tommy's lap of which his big brother insisted.
The fountains, music and ambiance of the many courtyards are so special in Old Town. When we asked the kids what their favorite part of the trip was, most of them said the rattlesnake museum in Albuquerque. There were 20 different kinds of rattlesnakes displayed along with some other animals, such as spiders, lizards, etc. It was fun hearing the snakes rattle away at us as we stared at them through the glass enclosures.
Precious toy store in one of the courtyard niches tucked away in Old Town Albuquerque. Love these open courtyards with tiny specialty shops surrounding them!Cowgirl Parie!
We had the same parking spot in the main courtyard park the year before when we drove through Albuquerque. This trip we got to explore the Old Town area much more than last year! It was Grand Canyon or bust the year before!
The locals were putting up their Christmas decorations to beautify Old Town, although it was still the weekend before Thanksgiving!
