poor fourth child...

apparently, this is what happens when Mommy is indisposed first thing in the morning. Sarah captured Tommy with his bed-head, feeding himself cereal look this December. The kids LOVE to get their little brother up in the morning which is just GREAT with me (us!) Of course, the rule is that he actually has to be "up," meaning AWAKE before they go trapsing into his room to retrieve him from his crib! Well, Tommy has been getting his "own" milk for a couple months now. That just means one of two things. Most of the time, I've poured his whole milk into sippy cups and placed them in "his" spot in the fridge. He is very proficient at opening the fridge door and getting one of his milk cups off the special shelf. However, if for some reason there isn't a sippy already made, he is just as good at getting the gallon whole milk and bringing it to me. The only hitch is that the shelf made for gallon jugs sometimes comes with the jug instead of remaining in the fridge door. Usually not a problem, I just pop it back into place. On this particular morning I wasn't available to pour milk or pop the shelf back into place so on the kitchen floor both sat until Mommy made her appearance (which who knows how long that was?!?!) p.s. the cereal is a nice touch to the floor picnic, huh?
